Hey Chicagoland Singles!

Thanksgiving week is weird for singles. One minute you’re dodging your aunt’s interrogation about your love life, and the next you’re staring down a holiday weekend with little to no events. Not on Thanksgiving, not on the day after (though if you’re staying in town, there are a few events on Saturday and Sunday 😁).

However, the moment you land back in Chicagoland after weekend festivities, the dating scene here wakes right back up. From now until New Year’s Day, the city and suburbs are basically a conveyor belt of chances to meet someone (your Boo perhaps). Whether it’s ugly sweater parties, speed dating, pickleball nights, trivia, volunteering, salsa, or even cold-plunge mixers, if you’re trying to meet your future Boo, you’ve got more options than you’ll know what to do with.

So take the quiet holiday lull for what it is: a tiny breather before the sprint. Because this stretch between Thanksgiving and January is one of the best windows all year to actually meet your Boo. And if you’re feeling a little hopeful about that, honestly, you should be.
